I just wanted to email you about the times my Daddy, Rev. Curtis Lott, my sister, Cindy Wagner and myself followed the Southern Envoys around Mississippi and Louisiana to hear them sing. We lived at Sandy Hook, Seminary and McComb, during those times. Daddy got them to sing at our church where he pastored, Eminence United Methodist Church, in Seminary, and Pisgah United Methodist Church, in McComb, a couple times and we fed them supper at our house both times in Seminary, and had supper at the church in McComb.
Those guys were our favorite group of singers and our friends! And to this day, even though they are no longer singing, and some of them have gone on to be with Jesus, they are still my favorite group! Even Daddy has gone to Heaven. I got all of my albums turned into CDs, so I still listen to them and I love them!! They loved the Lord and it was obvious in their performances. I miss them. I listen to them and can still see them up there on that stage or in the pulpit area singing their hearts out!!

Sitting here playing some vinyl Floyd gave me many years ago. We became good friends many years ago as I was promoting Gospel music and the ENVOYS sang at several of my concerts. Actually we, my wife Pat and I, became friends with the whole group. I was "Best man" at Ray's wedding over there in Mississippi. I'm 81 now. Lot of years have come and gone; Lotta prayers; Lotta songs. I have lost touch with the guys and theirs since Floyd died. I talked to Sarah one time after that. I still play their music (what I have left) as I have passed some of it on to others. I would love to replace it if available. I have many good memories and stories of the witness and blessings those guys shared, as they shared God's grace with their music. I had the privilege of doing many concerts with the Cathedrals, as did Floyd in his days as a promoter (I like the word sharer better). We became friends with them, and several times Floyd and the guys gathered in my home to practice a new song I had just received from a recent Cathedral concert. Oh, those days! What a legacy they leave for us Southern Gospel Music fans. DON'T forget! Pass it on! Thanks, and l would love to have an update on the families. STILL SHARING GOD'S GRACE! I love to tell the story.
